Wilma A. Fox, age 93, of Monroe, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family.
Wilma was born April 7, 1928 in Williamsburg, KY, she was the daughter of Charles and Flossie (Davis) Hollors. She married Samuel J. Fox December 15, 1945 in Carleton, MI; sadly he preceded her in death February 19, 2005.
She earned her GED in 1989 through the Monroe Public Schools Adult Education Program.
Wilma worked at the Holiday Inn in Monroe in the housekeeping department for several years before her retirement.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning and cooking. She showed her love to others by making sure that they were fed.
Wilma is survived by her three children, Sammy L. Fox of Wichita, KS, Sheri Fox of Monroe and Julie (Phillip) Perkins of Temperance; five grandchildren, Casey, Corey, Brisha and Steven Fox and Samantha Dziaba and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Danny, Steven and Mark and four sisters.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
In accordance with Wilma's wishes all services will be private and interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
