William Francis "Red" Gibson was received into the Lord's hands November 1, 2024.
Born August 24, 1956 in Monroe, Michigan, he was the son of Charlie and Marie (DiSabatino) Gibson.
Bill loved to fish and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tiger and Lions. He was a Mopar Maven! He was very proud to have worked for Jeep for 43 years, serving as an UAW union steward for many years.
He is survived by his parents, Charlie and Marie; partner, Kathleen Gibson; children, Jason, Jeremy and Leighanne; siblings, Dan Gibson and Dawn Simpson; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nephew Thomas St. Bernard and niece, Lacy Gibson.
He is preceded in death by his sister Leigh Anne St. Bernard.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 11 a.m. until memorial services begin at 2 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI 48161.
