William G. Mitosinka, age 83, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Wellspring Lutheran Services, surrounded by his family.
Bill was born October 5, 1939, in Monroe; he was the son of William A. and Sadie (Maletich) Mitosinka. He married Sally J. Neidinger May 7, 1966 at St. Charles Church in Newport.
He was a 1957 graduate of Monroe High School.
Bill served his country in the U.S. Navy from July 20, 1960 until his honorable discharge July 17, 1964.
He was a member of St. Mary's Church where he had served as an usher.
Bill was a car salesman at Webster-Duvall Lincoln Mercury for many years before his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sally; two children, Tim Mitosinka and Kim Johnson both of Monroe; four grandchildren, Tyler (Elizabeth) Johnson, Taylor (Giovanni) Calcaro, Brady Mitosinka and Brent Mitosinka; a great grandson, Walker and two more great grandchildren on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Ann Pursley.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday December 9, 2022 at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., where the VFW Post 1138 will have military honors at 4 p.m. He will lie instate at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church with Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
