WandaLee "Punky" Rumler, age 75, of Erie, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, with her family by her side.
WandaLee was born May 26, 1950, in Monroe. She was the daughter of Norman and Wanda Maxine (Snyder) Redlin. She married Gary Rumler June 11, 1994.
She was a 1968 graduate of Erie Mason High School and a loved member of Northwest Christian Church in Temperance.
WandaLee worked for the traffic division in the First District Court of Monroe County for 21 years before her retirement in 2009. She was also a Mary Kay lady for many years.
Her biggest priority was taking care of her family and home. She enjoyed baking, vegetable and flower gardening, canning and making tie blankets as gifts for many people. She has had many lifelong friendships especially with all the bunko girls.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gary Rumler, two sons, Timothy M. (Krystina) Koepke and Mark B. Koepke; two granddaughters, Meira and Willa Koepke; eight bonus-children, Steven (Vicki) Rumler, Todd (Deanna) Rumler, Kevin (Tricia) Rumler, James Rumler, John Rumler, Brian Rumler, Gina (Scott) Snyder and Sherrie Rumler, fourteen bonus-grandchildren and seven bonus-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Norman Redlin; mother, Wanda M. Ramsey and four brothers, Jerry, Larry, Bill and Michael Redlin.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday. Rev. Chuck Marckel, pastor of Northwest Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg.
