Walter S. "Boo Boo" Webster, 62 years, of Monroe, MI passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 in his home with his loving family at his side.
Born July 31, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN, Walter was the son of William and Martha (Hughes) Webster. Walter grew up in Indianapolis and attended Arsenal Technical High School.
On December 9, 2001 Walter married his beloved wife the former Wanda Jeanette Adams at Christ Love Fellowship Church in Monroe.
Walter worked as a welder for Ford Motor Company in Monroe until his retirement in 2001.
Walter enjoyed watching all types of sports, especially boxing, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
Walter is survived by his beloved wife Wanda Jeanette, his caring mother; Martha of Indianapolis, 8 loving children; Michael Webster of Indianapolis, Candice Webster, Antonio (Danielle) Webster, Angela Adams, Demetrius Adams, Jason Adams, Ditania Adams, Ronald Adams and all of Monroe. 21 cherished grandchildren, 7 brothers; Anthony Webster, Godfroy (Imogene) Muhammad, Kenneth (Alfreda) Martin, William Webster and Larry Webster all of Indianapolis, Charles (Jackie) Webster of Houston, TX, and Horace Martin of San Diego, CA.  Sadly, Walter was preceded in death by his father; a brother Michael and a daughter in law Janise Miller.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., in Monroe from 12:00 noon until funeral services celebrating his life at 1:00 PM. The Rev. Alfred Overstreet and the Rev. Heather Boone will officiate. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
