Walter E. Vukas, 59 years, of Detroit, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 7, 2014.
Born October 17, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, Walter was the son of Walter and OBrenka (Zivanov) Vukas. Walter graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in 1974.
Walter worked in the technology field where he enjoyed being a computer programmer. He also enjoyed motorcycles.
Walter is survived by a brother: Stuart N. (Rhonda) Vukas of New Boston, MI, two sisters: Marianne & Janis. Walter was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Mark.
Walter will lie in state at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the service at 11:00 A.M. Fr. Rade Obsenica, pastor of the church, will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
