During tax season she had worked for H & R Block and helped many family and friends with their personal returns. In her earlier years, Virginia was an avid tennis player, spending countless hours on the YMCA courts . She enjoyed playing in her monthly bridge group. They found a way to continue playing online during the pandemic and during her recent health decline. She was an excellent seamstress. She was always doing alterations for friends and family. She has made bridesmaid dresses for many weddings including both her daughters. She made baptismal outfits for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
