Victoria Sue Maenle, age 64 of Monroe, MI, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026 in Sylvania at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Born March 2, 1962 in Monroe, Vicki was the daughter of Gustave and Patricia (Drummonds) Janssens. She attended Monroe Public Schools, graduated from Monroe High School in 1980, and earned an associate degree at Monroe County Community College. On May 5, 2001, she married Anthony A. Maenle in Monroe.

Vicki was deeply rooted in her Christian faith. She believed in community involvement and volunteered her time as a member of the former Monroe Jaycees Chapter where she was active in civic neighborhood programs.

Vicki is survived by her husband Tony; her parents, Gus and Pat Janssens; two children, Nick (Andrea) Gooch and Tiffany (Mike) Brieschke; two siblings, Julie (Bruce) Burt and Bill (Kim) Janssens; seven grandchildren: Nolan, Lily, Dallas, Isaac, Owen, Eli, and Archer.

Celebration of life for Vicki will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. and a service at 3 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe. The family request that those attending wear Vicki’s favorite color, blue!
