Obituary

Vera Warner, age 84 of Monroe, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 20, 2026 while at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Ebeid Hospice Center.

Born March 26, 1942 in Claiborne County, TN, Vera was the daughter of the late Clayton and Marie (Berry) McCarty. On May 27, 1961, she married William W. Warner in Midland, MI. Together they raised three children.

A proud homemaker, Vera enjoyed crocheting, canning, baking, and doing crafts.

Vera is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Warner; their three children: Michelle (Jack) Clouse of Monroe, Michael Warner of Pittsford, MI, and Mandy Livingston of Groten, SD; two sisters, Bernice Dusseau of Atlanta, MI and Patsy Kelly of Monroe, MI; two grandchildren, Matthew (Brandy) Clouse and Elizabeth Bischoff; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shari (Clouse) Smith, and two infant sisters, Merle and Billie Sue McCarty.

Family and friends may visit from 12 p.m. until time of funeral at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23rd at Bacarella Funeral Home. Rev. B.J. McDaniel of One Way Christian Fellowship Church will officiate followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.
