Trudy L. Boes, age 53 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 6, 2022 in the emergency room at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Born February 1, 1969 in Monroe, Trudy was the daughter of the late Carson and Opal (Cain) Wagner. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1987 and married Charles E. Boes on October 20, 1990 at Frenchtown Missionary Baptist Church. Together they raised three children.
Trudy was a member of Evergreen Acres Missionary Baptist Church where she loved singing Gospel music. She was gifted with a terrific singing voice and also enjoyed karaoke and was often heard singing around the house. To her family and friends, Trudy was truly known to be passionate about loving children, singing, Facebooking, and her flare for seasonal and holiday interior and exterior decorating.
Trudy is survived by her husband Chuck; three children, Jacob (Miranda Grace) Boes of Monroe, Tyler (Erin) Boes of Plymouth, and Goldie (Brian) Jennings of Monroe; sister, Dana (Kirk) Heller of Monroe; brother, Keith (Cissy) Wagner of Monroe; sister-in-law, Jan Wagner of Monroe; grandson, Isaac Boes; and her pet dogs, Lilly and Bolt.
In addition to her parents, Trudy was also preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Garcia and a brother, Kelly Wagner.
Cremation arrangements are provided by Bacarella Funeral Home in accordance with family wishes. All are invited to celebrate Trudy's life from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12th at Evergreen Acres Missionary Baptist Church where a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Evergreen Acres Missionary Baptist Church.
