Timothy Woods, age 41, of Monroe and Gibraltar, MI, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008 in Monroe. Tim was born on September 17, 1967 in Monroe, MI the son of William Fred and Hazel A. (Hensley) Woods. Tim was a 1985 graduate of Jefferson High School. Tim was employed as a production worker for the past 14 years at Chrysler's Trenton Engine Plant in Trenton, MI. A craftsman, Tim also did construction work. Tim hobbies included; four wheeling, hunting, and spending time up north. Tim also enjoyed playing softball for his U.A.W. Local #372 in Trenton, of which he was a member. Tim is survived by his beloved mother; Hazel A. Woods of Monroe, 2 loving daughters; Heather and Holly Woods both of Monroe, 4 sisters; Brenda L Angel, Debra K. Woods, his twin sister Kim (David) Thurman, and Sheila Miller all of Monroe, his girlfriend Constance Malvits, whom he made his home with in Gibraltar, MI and many nieces and nephews. Sadly, Tim was preceded in death by his father on October 17, 2003. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd. in Monroe, from 2:00 PM until funeral services celebrating his life at 7:00 PM. The Rev. Alfred R. Whittaker pastor of Victory Temple Church of God will officiate. He will then be taken to Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN where visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008 from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Ferguson Cemetery in Tazewell. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
