Thomas W. Snavely, age 72, of Maybee, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 in his home.
Thomas was born February 28, 1950 in Monroe, he was the son of Reid and Roberta (Hall) Snavely. He married Patricia A. Darmis November 6, 1972; she preceded him in death May 28, 2016.
He was a 1968 graduate of Monroe High School. He then went on the serve his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army.
Thomas was employed for 48 years with the Ford Motor Company at the Monroe Plant until its closing and then the Flat Rock Plant until his retirement in 2020.
He loved spending time with his family.
Thomas is survived by his two children, Thomas M. (Brandy) Snavely of Monroe and Nicole (Jason) Russell of Monroe; a sister, Candy Snavely of Monroe and three grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler and Jade.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Tim, Von, Michael and James.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe.
