Sydney Claire Fay Pitock, 8 months, of Monroe, MI went home to be with the Lord and her big brother Jordan Matthew Alan Pitock, on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 5:20 PM in her home with her parents by her side. Sydney was born with the same rare genetic disorder as her brother Jordan. Sydney was born March 12, 2009 in Trenton, MI the daughter of Matthew J. and Heather N. (Brown) Pitock. Sydney lived a short but amazing life and loved music, getting her nails done, being read to and her very special Sea Pal. She and her parents are members of Crosswalk Community Church. Sydney is survived by her nurturing parents; Matt and Heather Pitock, beloved grandparents; Mike and Christine Pitock of Carleton, Kim Buzan of Monroe and Jim and Krystal Brown of Carleton, loving great grandparents; Vinson Calkins of Monroe, Tom and Doris Buzan of Loogootee, IN, Peggy Remer of Flat Rock, and Nelson and Sue Brown of Huntington Woods, MI, her uncle Mike Pitock of Carleton and her aunt Arika (Mark) Kotila of Detroit, MI. Sadly she was preceded in death by her brother Jordan on July 1, 2008, her great grandmother Eleanor Calkins and her great grandfather Roger Remer. A memorial service celebrating Sydney's amazing life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd. in Monroe, at 12:00 Noon. The Rev. Dale Hayford pastor of Crosswalk Community Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to Kaleidoscope Kids Hospice Team at Henry Ford Hospice.
