Susan Hope Rosenberger, 67, of Monroe, passed away at her home with her family at her side at 3:45 P.M., Friday, January 21, 2011 She was born in Monroe, Michigan August 16, 1943 to John Krajci and Elayne (Dunbar) Champion. She married Thomas Rosenberger March 9, 1963 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Monroe. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1961 and also graduated from Cleary Business College in Ypsilanti. She had been employed as a secretary at Ford Motor Company and also was a tax preparer for H & R Block Company, retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Theta Eta Chapter at Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority; enjoyed reading; cross stitch and internet book clubs; was an avid cook and also was a dedicated Detroit Pistons fan. She is survived by her husband Thomas; son David (Amy) Rosenberger of Monroe; daughters Jill (Richard) Spain of Toledo, Ohio and Wendy (Shawn) Nolan of Monroe; five grand-children Spencer Prill, Elayne and Matthew Nolan, Lauren and Luke Rosenberger. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son in law Shawn M. Nolan. Friends and family may gather from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday , January 26, 2011 at the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe (734-242-4600) Her funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. that Wednesday evening with Rev. Evans Bentley, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church officiating. In accordance with her wishes cremation has been held. Cremains inurnment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in LaSalle. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Monroe.
