Sherilyn Fox, age 67 of Monroe, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. She had been in declining health for 2 ½ months.
Born June 27, 1955 in Monroe, Sherilyn was the daughter of the late Samuel and Wilma (Hollors) Fox.
Sherilyn was employed by Big Boy Restaurant on N. Dixie Hwy. as a waitress before retiring after 27 years. She enjoyed bird watching, doing jig saw puzzles, and crocheting.
Sherilyn is survived by a son, Steven (Melissa) Fox of Monroe; grandson, Gage Fox of Monroe; brother, Samuel Fox of Kansas City, MO; and sister, Julie (Phil) Perkins of Maybee, MI.
In addition to her parents, Sherilyn was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel, Steven, and Marcus Fox.
Per Sherilyn's request, no services will be held. Bacarella Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation and interment arrangements through Roselawn Memorial Park.
