Sheila K. (Anders) Ballantyne, 51, of Beverly Hills, FL for the past 6 months, formerly of Monroe and Flat Rock, died in her home Wednesday, December 20, 2006. She had been in poor health for 15 months. She was born January 25, 1955 in Monroe to Clarence and Delores (Bohmer) Anders, a 1972 graduate of High High High Natrona Heights High School, PA, she married Bruce Ballantyne, October 21, 192 in Monroe. She was employed for several years as a supervisor by Ford Motor Company, Flat Rock, retiring March 31, 2006. Sheila enjoyed boating, traveling, trips to the casino, playing bingo and poker, and her cat, Smokey Joe. Survivors include her husband, mother and stepfather, Delores (Jim) Carmon of LaSalle, MI, son, Scott T. Ballantyne of Beverly Hills, FL, and a daughter, Sarah J.B. (Danny) Salisbury II of Flat Rock, MI. Friends may call Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Bacarella Funeral Home 1-8 PM, where services celebrating her life will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. The Rev. Douglas Ralston of Zion United Methodist Church will officiate, followed by burial at Woodland Cemetery, Monroe. Memorial gifts in her name may be given to the Hernando Pasco Hospice of Hudson, FL.
