Sharon Lee McCulley, 78 years, a lifelong resident of Monroe, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Alice Lorraine Care Center.
Born August 27, 1946 in Monroe, Sharon was the daughter of the late Lee and Estella (McKinney) McCulley. She was a 1964 graduate of Monroe High School and went on to attend Northern Michigan University.
Sharon worked for 35 years at Kmart in Monroe from which she retired.
Sharon was a very giving person, who quietly helped others, and was a loyal daughter, sister and aunt. She enjoyed watching University of Michigan sports and time spent with family.
Sharon is survived by a brother, James (April) McCulley of Littleton, NC, a sister, Laura (Rick) Reicherd of Monroe, a niece, Katie (Brian) VanKoevering, two nephews: John (Caroline) McCulley, and Andrew McCulley, and three great nieces and nephews: Lucas, Rhett, and Chloe.
Private graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161, is assisting Sharon's family with funeral arrangements.
As Sharon was quite the animal lover, memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Monroe County.
