Obituary

Sharon "Sherry" Marjorie Frederick, age 77 of Temperance, MI, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in her home.
Born August 9, 1947 in Monroe, Sherry was the daughter of Lowell and Marjorie (Karwick) Bowman. She graduated from Mason High School and married Ferdinando Frederick in 1978. Together they raised three children.
Sherry had worked many jobs, but the most important one was raising her kids. She was selfless and took great pride in caring for them.
Sherry lived quite a life with ups and downs, like many but she always had a smile on her face and saw the good in everyone and everything. She deserved the world, and her kids and grandkids made sure that she had everything in her life, which was not material things. A full life for her was for her kids, grandkids, and now great-grandkids to be happy and healthy. She would literally give her last dollar to make sure someone was taken care of, and surely she did just that even without their knowledge and never said a word.
Sherry enjoyed spending time with her family more than anything, whatever that entailed. She enjoyed going to movies, doing puzzles, painting pinecones, trimming her doggies, all sorts of crafts, playing games with the family and making others laugh at her often-corny jokes that we all loved, going for drives to new places, spending time with her cousins when she was younger, camping in Claire MI with her kids, & playing Bunco with her mom and cousins..
Sherry is survived by her husband, Ferdinando Lee Frederick of Temperance, MI; her children: Shannon Marjorie (Tom) Alston, Troy William Frederick, and Heather Lee Frederick; grandchildren: Trey Meechan, Tia (Salvador) Hernandez, Alana (Levi) Kennedy, and Talena Meechan; great-grandchildren: Lincoln Kennedy, and Walker Kennedy (on the way) sons of Alana Kennedy, Peanut Lee Frederick (furry son of Sherry), Snoopy Lee Frederick (Heather Frederick), Axel Alston, & Timber Kennedy.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Marge & Lowell Bowman in 2014, and a brother, Gary Bowman in 2019
No Memorial is set currently but keep her in your heart & mind in her honor.
"For the Woman that Held Us All"
She laughed like the sun through a stormy sky,
Turning tears into chuckles without asking why.
With hands that healed and a heart so wide,
She carried the world with her family inside.
She'd give her last breath just to see us smile,
And walk a thousand weary miles.
A warrior wrapped in grace and cheer,
Who faced every trial without a trace of fear.
In jokes and joy, in quiet might-
She was our shelter, our spark, our light.
Though her hands now rest, her love will stay,
A legacy of laughter that won't fade away.
In Memory of a woman who gave everything with love and a laugh that lives on.
