Sandra Marie Rains, age 65 of Monroe, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Sandra was born February 18, 1959 in Trenton, she was the daughter of Warren G. and Marcetta (Dozier) Rains.
She was a 1986 graduate of Monroe Country ISD.
Sandra loved the time she spent with her family and she also enjoyed bowling, dancing, karaoke, playing bingo and putting together puzzles.
She is survived by three siblings, Warren (Natalie) Rains, Jr., Clayton Rains and Brenda Monday all of Monroe; six nieces and nephews, Michael (Ronda) Monday, Lenora Evoe, Alicia Monday, Christopher (Brittany) Rains, Brittany Crews and Zachary Rains and many great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and James Lawson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev. Rick Massingill will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
