Sandra L. Perkins, age 75 of Monroe, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Born September 5, 1948 in Monroe, Sandra was the daughter of the late Wanis and Lois (Smock) Roberts. She married Calvin Paul Perkins in 1992 in Findlay, Ohio. Calvin passed on May 2, 2009.
Sandra was a manager for one of the local McDonald restaurants in Monroe for many years and later worked for Pinkus Dermatopathology Laboratory before retiring in 2013. She was a 1966 graduate of Monroe High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent her free time scrapbooking, cooking and baking for everyone, watching her favorite TV shows, and learning how to do other arts and crafts.
Sandra is survived by two children, Michael (Rebecca) Roberts and Kimberly Roberts, both of Monroe; four siblings, Ruth Seiber, Donald (Evelyn) Roberts, Gloria Boedicker, and Gary (Ramona) Roberts, all of Monroe; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sandra was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Kelly Roberts, and her brother, David Roberts.
Family and friends may visit from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27th at Bacarella Funeral Home where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Rev. Roy Southerland, pastor of Lambertville Community Church will officiate followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.
