Samuel C. Sicuso of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the age of 74 in his home.
Born December 7, 1950 in Monroe, Sam was the son of the late Santo and Maria (Keller) Sicuso. He attended Hall of Divine Child and graduated from Monroe High school in 1968 where he displayed his passion for the stage and later as a member of the Community Players.
Shortly after school, Sam pursued his love of hairdressing. His talent and charisma won him an elite position with Zotos Creative Design Group. Traveling the world on main stage while sharing his skills caught the eye of Conair Corporation. From Zotos to Conair and then eventually Sally Beauty Supply was an accumulation of trophies and accolades.
In addition to his global exploits, Sam was an entrepreneur and local celebrity, bringing people together for common causes. His local salon reflected years of mastery and people connecting.
Sam is survived by a brother, Santo (Cheryl) Sicuso of Monroe; niece, Karla Sicuso of Luna Pier; two nephews, Jason Smith and Shane Dalrymple; great-niece, Ryah Ford; and half-sister, Nancy Chadwell.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Karl and Anthony Sicuso.
The family will receive visitors beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1st at St. Michael Catholic Church where Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. Kishore Battu will officiate followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Bacarella Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
