Rosemarie Myers, age 82, of Monroe, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Fountain View of Monroe.
Rosemarie was born November 5, 1943 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Floyd and Ruby (Wylie) Myers. She married Gerald M. Marlow in 1964.
She attended Monroe Public Schools. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ, was a former member of North Monroe Street Church of God, where she was a soloist in the choir and sang for radio services and Sunday services.
Rosemarie enjoyed playing gin rummy, Yahtzee and doing cross word puzzles. She had a one-of-a-kind personality with her tell it like it is attitude, charm, wit, sarcasm and sassiness that stayed with her until her last day on earth. She wore her heart on her sleeve and would do anything for anybody. She had a way of treating people so that everyone who met her loved her. She was forever changed when she lost her son, Gerald, and daughter, Rhonda, they are now reunited and they are celebrating being together again.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy (Brian) Marlow Beason and Misty (Jonathan) Marlow Rudder; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and sister, Lisa E. Barton, they shared a birthday and were best friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Gerald Marlow; daughter, Rhonda Morris; grandson, David Hayter; two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 12 p.m. until services start at 3 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow the service.
