Ronnie J. "Bucky" Casto, 73 years, of Monroe, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
Born December 7, 1947 in Charleston, West Virginia, Ronnie was the son of the late James Leonard and Dorothy I. (Riffle) Casto.
On August 9, 1980, Ronnie married his beloved wife, the former Kathleen M. Lichon in Toledo, Ohio.
Ronnie was employed by Ford Motor Company, working at the Monroe Plant for over 30 years. He retired as a hi lo driver in 2007.
Ronnie was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Monroe. He enjoyed riding his Harley and hunting with his best friend Ron LaPrad. Most of all Ronnie enjoyed time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.
Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Kathy, four loving children: Ronnie of Monroe, William (Terry) of WV, Edward (Tina) of Ann Arbor, MI, and Tressie of WV, eight cherished grandchildren: Khristie, Cheryl, Desmond, Lillian, Isaiah, Kaya, Jason, Marcedies, and twins on the way, nine treasured great grandchildren: Elijah, Kassadie, Kairi, Keristen, Tammy, Iziah, Noah, Jaiden, and Alex and two brothers: Gary Casto of Monroe, and Harold (Cheryl) Gillispie of FL.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his son, Adam a grandson, Alex, a brother, Steven, and a sister, Wanda King.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161, where funeral services celebrating Ronnie's life will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Deacon Mike Stewart will officiate. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
