Obituary

Reva Cole-Yentz, age 86, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Trinity Health, Ann Arbor.
Reva was born February 13, 1938, in New Tazewell, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Dewey and Dorothy (Keck) England. Reva spent her early years in Tennessee and then moved with her mother to Monroe. Reva graduated from Monroe High School. She married Dwade Cole and they raised their 4 children together in Allen Park. After Dwade's passing, Reva moved back to Monroe where she met and married Karl Yentz.
Reva was the owner of two businesses in Monroe, River City Cinemas for 25 years and Mr. C's restaurant for 3 years. Reva loved to travel and has visited all fifty states in addition to her world travels to Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, England, France, Germany, Italy, and Mexico. Her Favorite trip was Hong Kong due to the shopping. Reva loved to shop. Reva also loved boating on the Champagne Lady with her husband, Karl. She was a member of the Detroit Beach Boat Club (DBBC) and former President of the DBBC Women's Auxiliary. Reva was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Ellen) Cole, Jeffrey (Kim) Cole and Bryan (Nancy) Cole; two stepsons, Fred (Christianne) Yentz and Paul (Angela) Yentz; son-in-law, John Lobzun; two siblings, Carla Strunk and Bari (Wendy) Waltz; twenty-three grandchildren, and thirty great grandchildren.
Reva is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dwade, her husband, Karl, a daughter, Sharon Lobzun and brother, Vaughn Churchill Jr.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI 48161. The funeral service will be held at Bacarella Funeral Home on Monday, June 3 at 2 pm with Rev. Dennis Mann officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
