Ralph J. Cicero, Jr., 77 years, a lifelong resident of Monroe, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Wellspring Lutheran Services in Monroe.
Born June 8, 1948 in Monroe, Ralph was the son of the late Ralph J. and Thelma Jean (Smith) Cicero, Sr. Ralph was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He attended Lincoln Elementary School and was 1966 graduate of Monroe High School. Ralph went on to further his education and received his associate's degree in applied science from Monroe County Community College.
Ralph served his county honorably and proudly as a Medical Assistant in the United States Navy. Ralph served from February 1968 until his discharge in February 1972. He served much of his time connected with the 3rd Marine Division. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
On July 12, 1969, Ralph married his beloved wife, the former Lila B. Gray, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroe.
Ralph worked for Ford Motor Company's Monroe Plant for 30 years. He retired in 2008 as a Production Supervisor.
Ralph was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he volunteered extensively. He served on Parish Council, was a Knight of St. Joseph and helped with the Food Closet Ministry. He also volunteered to help with Sunday night Bingo at the Knights of Columbus. Most of all Ralph loved time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Lila, two loving children: Adam D. and Stephanie J. both of Monroe, a loving daughter in law, Denise M. Cicero - Prewitt of Monroe, five cherished grandchildren: Teagin (Dustin Clark), Adam Jr., Lindsay (Drew Harmon), Nicholas, and Bella, three treasured great grandchildren: Carson, Cooper, Cash, and another on the way., and four siblings: Carol "Cookie" Bardoni, Tina Cicero, Mark Cicero all of Monroe and Michael (Jacque) Cicero of Cadillac.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by two sons: Jeremy and Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 2-7 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161, where funeral services celebrating Ralph's life will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 12:30 pm. Rev. Mark Witte, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Monroe.
