Phillip Paul Kuczynski, age 42, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

The son of William Walker Kuczynski and Lisa Renee (Bargerstock) Grimm, Phillip was born on September 16, 1983 in Westland, Michigan. He was a 2001 graduate of Huron Highschool.

For sixteen years Phillip worked at Venture Steel as a logistics dispatcher. He enjoyed his position and made many friends in his time there.

Phillip was an avid sports fanatic. He was a diehard fan of the Detroit Lions; he loved to golf and always had a place in his heart for wrestling which he watched since childhood. He was also known for the pride he had in his lawn which he meticulously maintained. More than anything else, Phillip loved his family and he enjoyed time spent with them greatly. He adored his daughter Coralina; she was the light of his life.

Phillip is survived by his loving parents, William Kuczynski and Lisa Grimm; his stepfather, Neil Grimm; daughter, Coralina Renee Kuczynski; two sisters, Felicia Kuczynski and Ashly Kuczynski; stepbrother, Cameron Grimm; and his niece and nephews, Khloe Maranian, Conner Maranian, and Karson Bragg.

In accordance with Phillip’s wishes cremation has been held and a memorial visitation celebrating his life will take place on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Bacarella Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. with the memorial service at 4:00 P.M.. Rev. Jay Anderson of CrossPointe Church will officiate.
