Peter C. Clark, 65 years, of Petersburg, MI passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010 in his home. Pete had been in declining health for the past couple of years.
Pete was born May 31, 1945 in Muskegon, MI the son of the late Robert F. and Mabel I. (Lyng) Clarke. Pete was a 1963 graduate of Jefferson High School. He married the former Diane Collins in Monroe, MI.
Pete served his country honorably and proudly in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis as a crew member of the USS Essex.
Pete worked as a mechanic for various transportation companies in the Toledo area before retiring in 2004.
Pete was a former member of the VFW in Petersburg. He enjoyed hunting, fish, motorcycles, working on automobiles and NASCAR.
Pete is survived by his 3 loving children; Joseph D. (Tammy) Clark, Sherry L. Longworth, Lisa A. Clark all of Monroe, 11 cherished grandchildren and 1 treasured great grandson, 3 sisters; Mary Richardson, Lois Schaarschmidt, and Anna Woodbury.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM
