Pauline M. Stadler, age 94 of Monroe, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Born December 29, 1930 in Monroe, Pauline was the daughter of the late Nelson and LauraBelle (Smith) Missler. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1949 and married Laurence A. Stadler in the parsonage of Trinity Lutheran Church on August 13, 1949. Together they raised four children. Sadly, he passed on April 15, 1984.
Pauline had a long history of involvement as a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was an active member of its Altar Guild and Ladies Aide. She was also a cook at the elementary school for 28 years before retiring on June 30, 1998.
Pauline is survived by her children: Roxanne (Rodney) Millhouse of Monroe, Pamela (Ross) Otter of Monroe, Larry (Sue) Stadler of Toledo, OH, and Lori (Ina Shicoff) Stadler of Tucson, AZ; 14 grandchildren: Matthew (Analisa) Millhouse, Brandy (Matthew) Miller, Darcy (Jim) Bica, Shannon (Brian) Tam, Shawn (Stephanie Draeger) Otter, Ryan (Liz) Otter, Michele (Dave) Schmalzel, Rachele (Mark) Donofrio, Molly (Jim) Sheridan, Neil Sweeny, Russel Sweeny, Donnie Lonsway, Justin (Chris Caraveo) Lonsway, and Autumn (Ray) Cleveland; 22 great-grandchildren: Maia, Mara, Mojo, Arden, Morgan, Grant, Matilda, Sam, Alex, Bailey, Nick, Alley, Charleston, Jack, Sydney, Haden, Conner, Hunter, Olivia, Donovan, Luke, and Gavin.
Family and friends may visit from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13th at Bacarella Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Dennis Mann, Visitation Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.
