Paul J. “Sonny” Miller, Sr., age 70, of Monroe, he went home to the loving arms of his Lord; his daughter Angela was the second the greet him on what would have been her 43rd birthday, Wednesday, September 2, 2026 in his home surrounded by his family.

Paul was born June 8, 1956 in Monroe, he was the son of Morrison and Louise (Raymond) Miller. He married the love of his life Deborah L. Neal on September 1, 1980, they celebrated their 46th anniversary the day before he passed.

He had worked for Bay Corrugated and Monroe Moving.

He enjoyed camping at Hideaway RV Park, fishing and helping others in any way he could.

Paul is survived by his wife Debbie; son, Paul Miller, Jr. of Monroe; two brothers, Edward Miller of Toledo and Tommy (Peggy) Miller of Monroe; a grandson, Nathan Dewald; their new puppy, Ollie and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Angela Miller; a brother, Junior Miller and a sister, Eleanor Miller.

In accordance with Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Bacarella Funeral Home is assisting the family.
