Patricia Ann Snavely, 64 years, of Maybee, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at her son's home in Monroe, Michigan.
Born March 10, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan, Patty was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Woodruff) Darmis. Patty attended school in Detroit and was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith.
On November 6, 1972, Patty married the love of her life Thomas W. Snavely in Monroe.
Patty was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed caring for her 6 ½ acre homestead, where she mowed the lawn, tended to her flowers, and kept the pond and beach in meticulous shape. Patty will be remembered as a wonderful lady who was a perfectionist at all she did. Most of all Patty enjoyed caring for and spending time with family.
Patty is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Tom, two loving children: Thomas M. Snavely and Nicole M (Jason) Russell both of Monroe, three cherished grandchildren: Jordan Jennings, Tyler Jennings, and Jade Russell, and two brothers Ronnie and George Darmis both of Detroit, MI.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 1-8 PM in The Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI 48161, where funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM. In keeping with Patty's wishes cremation will follow visitation.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
