Patricia Jean Kegerreis, age 81, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 in her home surrounded by her family.
Patricia was born October 20, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Francis and Helen (Murco) Kitzler. She married Donald D. Kegerries July 14, 1962 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Toledo, Ohio.
She a 1960 graduate of Toledo Central Catholic High School and went on the graduate Davis Business College.
Pat was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and Monroe Rod and Gun Club.
Pat served as the treasurer of Monroe Township for 25 years, retiring in 2007.
She enjoyed boating and flower gardening. She truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Don, a son, Scott (Allyson) Kegerreis of Monroe; three siblings, Thomas (Pat) Kitzler of Toledo, Mickey (David Leary) Kitzler of Palm Springs, CA and Annmarie (Jesse) McGraw of Tip City Ohio; five grandchildren, Brett Kegerreis, Cody Kegerries, Justin Kegerreis, Evan Reaume and Mackenzie Kegerreis and three great grandchildren, Owen, Elliot and Dutton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Gregory Dee Kegerreis and a brother, Francis "Bill" Kitzler.
Memorial visitation will be held 12 to 3 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024 at Bacarella Funeral Home 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe with a memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. Deacon Michael Stewart will officiate.
