Patricia A. "Patt" Howerton, age 77 of Monroe, passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 19th in her home.
Born June 19, 1944 in Monroe, Patt was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mae Mulligan. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1962 and married James E. Howerton on July 16, 1966 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Sadly, he preceded her in death on April 22, 2000.
Patt was very artistic and enjoyed drawing and painting and listening to her vinyl records. She was known to be sweet, compassionate, and always put her children's needs ahead of her own.
Patt is survived by two children, Holly Howerton and Steven Howerton, both of Monroe; sister, Linda Peck of Toledo; half-sister, Susie of Florida; and three grandchildren: Tyler Neidlinger, Adrianna Howerton-Lee, and Niko Lee.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patt was also preceded in death by three brothers, David, Lawrence, and Richard Mulligan.
Bacarella Funeral Home assisted the family with cremation and interment arrangements. No services are scheduled in accordance with their wishes.
