Patricia Mae (Durham) Lanham, age 80, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Pat was born April 24, 1943 in Clarksville, Tennessee; she was the daughter of Dennis Cleo and America Lee (Robinson) Durham. She married Herbert Ottis Lanham November 26, 1971 at First Baptist Church, Monroe.
She was a 1961 graduate of Airport High School and took Betty Jo's Cake Classes at Monroe County Community College. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Church Women United of Monroe and had served as their secretary.
She worked at Bargain City, Betty Jo Cake Store, Kiddie Korner and Stanley Home Products before her retirement.
Pat enjoyed crafts, flower gardening, traveling and she volunteered with the Mercy Memorial Hospital Guild.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Herb; two brothers, Tony (Mary) Durham of Canton, MI and Jerry (Yvonne) Durham of Belleville; four nieces and nephews, David Durham, Tim Durham, Peggy (Mark) Smith and Cindy Yates; several great nieces and nephews and their families.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a nephew, Steven Durham and a niece, Lori Pike.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 from 4 p.m. until funeral services at 7 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe. Revs. Kim and Cindy Semran, pastors at First Baptist Church, will officiate. A private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pat's memory are suggested to First Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
