Pamela Jo Griner, age 63, of Newport, passed away, Saturday, December 30, 2023 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Pam was born July 1, 1960 in Fostoria, Ohio, she was the daughter of Edward and Marlyn (Beck) Gensler. She married Rodney Griner April 16, 2003, blending their two families together in a seamless fashion.
She was a1978 graduate of St. Mary Academy and gained certification from Ross Medical Institute in medical billing.
Pam worked for Pinkus Lab and then at Mercy Memorial Hospital/ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in patient accounts until her retirement in 2020.
She was a member of Bethany Eagle's Nest Community Church.
Pam loved crafting, bowling and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Rodney Griner; her mother, Marlyn Gensler; five children, Wesley (Shawlynn) Reece, Becky Klawitter, Shanna (Mike) Marlow, Meredith (David) Gilliam, and Billy (Stacey) Griner; two brothers, Ryan Gensler and Randy (Debbie) Gensler; ten grandchildren, Austin (Misty), Joshua, Jacob, Camara, Anthony, Tavin, Alysa, Luna, Gabriel, and Adeline and two great grandchildren, Greyson and Arthas.
She is preceded in death by her father.
The family will receive guests on Monday, January 8, 2024 beginning at 3 p.m. at Bethany Eagle's Nest Community Church, 2740 Nadeau Rd., Monroe, MI 48162 with a memorial service starting at 4 p.m. Rev Frank Draganic will officiate. Bacarella Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Rodney Griner in honor of Pam's memorial wishes.
