Olen Keith Woods, age 68, of Maybee, passed away peacefully Monday, April 10, 2023 at Medilodge of Monroe.
Keith was born September 21, 1954 in Monroe; he was the son of Arnold V. and Mamie G. (Ray) Woods.
He was a 1972 graduate of Monroe High School. He worked for Complete Packaging for 31years before his retirement.
Keith loved his hometown of Maybee and everyone in town knew him. He enjoyed going to Milan Dragway, racing, riding his bike and spending time with his adopted family. Many people also knew him as "Doc".
He is survived by a sister, Wilma Woods; nephews, James Taylor and Arnold (AJ) Taylor; niece, Denys Rock; his adopted family; Larry and Terri Gramlich and their children and grandchildren, Lisa, Ryon, Tylor and Ryleigh Orrison, Matthew, Lisa, A.J. and Aubree "Pumpkin" Gramlich, Marc, Jennifer, Madison, Julia and Jackson Gramlich and Michael and Marisa Gramlich and his fur friend, Nip.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Arnold Woods and sister, Deanna D'Arpini.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI 48161 where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Chaplain Rob Herman, of Racers for Christ, will officiate. Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery, Maybee.
