Nora Jean Hall-Morris, age 62, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Beaumont Hospital, Trenton.
Nora was born June 25, 1960 in Oakland, California. She was the daughter of Richard Burns and Barbara Jean Hall.
She served her country in the U.S. Army from 1982 until her honorable discharge in 1989.
Nora was a cook at various restaurants.
She loved animals, especially her cat Ruby, music, the ocean, sunshine and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Nora is survived by her four children, Nicole S.E. Hinton, Broc Carson Hinton, Colton Hunter Gorence and Jacob Richard Morris all of Monroe and five grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a stillborn son, Mason Elijah.
In lieu of the flowers the family suggests memorial contributions.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle with military honors by VFW Post 1138, Monroe.
