Milica Isakov, 85 years of Monroe, MI. passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 3:47 PM in her home. Milica was born September 21, 1921 in Kukunjevac, Pakrac, Serbia the daughter of the late Lazo and Duja (Brkanac) Zivkovic. In 1941 she married Petar Radakovic in Yugoslavia. On June 28, 1975 in Monroe, MI. she married Joe Z. Isakov. Sadly he preceded her in death on May 6, 2003. Milica worked as a Custodian for the City of Monroe at City Hall retiring in 1989. Milica was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, she enjoyed bingo, baking, cooking and crocheting. Milica is survived by 2 loving sons; Milan Radakovic of Chicago, IL and Nikola Radakovic of Grosse Ile, MI, 7 cherished grandchildren and 7 cherished great grand children. In addition to her husband Joe and her parents, Milica was preceded in death by a son Petar Radakovic Jr. Visitation for Milica will be held Tuesday from 2-9 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM. She will lie in state on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 from 10:00 AM until funeral services celebrating her life at 11:00 AM at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. The Rev. Miosav Ghingilovich pastor of the church will officiate. Entombment will follow at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, MI. Memorial contributions in her name may be given to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
