Michele L. Holm, 69 years, a lifelong resident of Monroe, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.

Born August 26, 1956, in Monroe, Michele was the daughter of the late James C. and Bette L. (Hollars) Brewer. She attended Monroe Public Schools and was a 1974 graduate of Monroe High School.

On September 23, 1978, Michele married her beloved husband, Itha Otto Holm, in Monroe.

Michele was employed as a Store Manager for Wendy’s in Monroe until her retirement in 2003.

Michele enjoyed crafting and painting. Nothing brought Michele more joy than time spent with family.

Michele is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Otto, two loving daughters; Jayme C. (Jeffrey) Kraehnke of Monroe, and Dawn A. (Michael) Jones of South Rockwood, six cherished grandchildren; Rose (AJ) Hunter, Isabella Kraehnke, Brody, Charlotte, Macy, and Emery Jones, three treasured great grandchildren; Ava, Kara, and Kristin, and a beloved sister, Arah (Kent) Jocque of Ann Arbor.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 3-7 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161. In keeping with Michele’s wishes there will be no funeral service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Monroe County.
