Michaela Jean-Nicole Hinkley, 20 years, of Monroe, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Born September 28, 2000 in Monroe, Michaela was the daughter of Erin L. Redmond and Paul M. "Mike" Hinkley, II. Michaela attended Monroe Public Schools and Monroe High School class of 2018.
Michaela worked for IH Services as a Building Services Specialist and recently took a job as a Quality Auditor for Yanfeng Automotive Interiors (formerly Johnson Controls).
Michaela was a wonderful artist and enjoyed putting on makeup and fashion, especially clothing styles. Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her friends and family.
Michaela is survived by her loving mother, Erin, loving father, Mike, cherished siblings; Lily A., Maizie J., and Michael O. Hinkley, all of Monroe, beloved grandparents; Randy L. (Karen Raymond) Redmond, Patty J. (Bob) Hern, and Paul M. (Holly A.) Hinkley, all of Monroe, great aunt; Priscilla A. Redmond of Monroe, two uncles; Patrick A. (Chelsea) Hinkley of Monroe, Kory L. Redmond of LaSalle and her aunt, Randi J. Redmond of Monroe.
Sadly, she was preceded in death by her great grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-8 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161, where funeral services celebrating Michaela's life will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 am. Minister Andre R. King of Dunbar Road Church of Christ will officiate.
