Michael J. Szandrowsky, age 60, of Monroe, MI passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008 at 4:50 AM in his mother's home. Mike had been in poor health for 3 years. Mike was born October 28, 1947 in Queens, NY the son of John H. and Thekla (Gavryl) Szandrowsky. Mike came to Monroe in 1962. Mike was a 1965 graduate of Monroe High School and attended both Monroe County Community College and Eastern Michigan University. Mike worked as a men's clothing salesman for B.R. Baker's and Dan Schroeder's both in Toledo, OH, Sak's Fifth Avenue in Dearborn, MI and he was the men's clothing manager at Jacobson's also in Dearborn, MI. Mike enjoyed boating. Mike is survived by his mother Thekla Szandrowsky, 2 nephews; Thomas (Maria) Gilson and Robbie (Samantha) Gilson both of Dexter, MI, his aunt Nadia (Konstatine) Gryziec of Brooklyn, NY and a cousin Robert Stuchell of Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister Karen Gilson. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 3:30 PM at St. Joseph Cemetery. The Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S.
