Michael Henry Bert, age 65, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Monroe Springs Rehab and Nursing Center.
Michael was born July 3, 1960 in Monroe, he was the son of Floyd and Eula "Annette" (Gore) Bert.
Mike attended Monroe High School. He loved watching sports and was a fan of all the professional Detroit teams: Tigers, Lions, Red Wings and Pistons. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially with great niece, Solai.
He was a cook in various Monroe restaurants including Monroe Diner, Holiday Inn and the 5th Wheel.
Mike is survived by his three siblings, Phyllis Bert, Ricky (Dorie) Bert and Deborah (Rob) Cicero; nieces and nephews, Heather Bert, Clarissa (Joe) Langford, Nick Bert, Miranda Cicero, Anthony (Morgan) Cicero and Vanessa Bert; great niece and nephew, Solai and Briggs.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held at a later date. Bacarella Funeral Home is assisting the family.
