Matthew L. Hindermeier, age 62, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Matthew was born June 20, 1962 in Redford, MI, he was the son of Arnold "Ted" and Irene (Savoie) Hindermeier.
He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp.
Matthew was a member of St. Joseph Church, Toledo. He loved art and enjoyed drawing and painting. He also loved building things out of wood.
He worked for a CVS warehouse as a stock manager.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Irene Hindermeier of LaSalle; six siblings, Kathy (Randy) Maynard of Kentucky, Debra Hindermeier of Riverview, Theresa Hindermeier of LaSalle, Mark (Crystal) Hindermeier of Jackson, Denise (Mike) Davis of North Carolina and Ann Marie (Kevin) Hartman of Tennessee; eleven nieces and nephews, Angela Bylicki, Nathan (Theresa) Bylicki, Elizabeth Hindermeier, Tiara (George) Woodard, Abe (Katie) Davis, Hannah (Paul) Tosch, Luke (Sandhya) Davis, Deborah (Ian) Charles , Faith Davis, Noah Hartman and Sophia Hartman and several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, with the Rosary at 7 p.m. He will lie instate at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025 at St. Joseph Church, 628 Locust St., Toledo, OH 43604 with Requiem Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in his memory be made to have Masses said for Matthew.
