Obituary

Mary Ann Rinne, 59, of Newport, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012 in the Oakwood Hospital, Dearborn, where she had been since Sunday.  She was born on November 23, 1952 in Monroe, MI to Lewis and Jeanette (Reeves) Rinne.
She was a graduate of Huron High School, New Boston, and was known to be a hard worker, always holding two jobs. She worked mainly as a cook at Restaurant Italia and also the cafeteria at Fermi.  At one time she had also worked in the Jewelry and Small Appliance section at Meijer, and at Sensational Beginnings.  Mary was a very creative woman who enjoyed sewing pillows and blankets, and making quilts and pillows out of blue jeans for her family.  But most of all she enjoyed her time spent with her family and grandchildren.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Matthew O. (Tina Cunningham) Rinne and Jeremy S. Rinne, all of Newport, 4 cherished grandchildren, Justine, Dillin, Katrina, and Dalton, 2 beloved great grandchildren, Evan and Hope, and her brothers and sister, Amel (Marion) Rinne of Flat Rock, Michael (Pam) Rinne of New Poston, and Carol (Bill) Bogedine of Monroe.  Sadly, her parents preceded her in death.
A memorial visitation will be held Monday, October 8, 2012 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI 48161 (734) 241-4000, www.bacarellafuneralhome.com , where service to celebrate her life will be at 1 PM that day.  Rev. Edward Howard will officiate.  The R.J. Nixon Funeral Home, 2544 Biddle Ave.  Wyandotte, MI  48192, (734) 284-1600 was privileged to assist the family with arrangements.  Online condolences, and words of comfort, may be offered to the family by visiting www.nixonfuneralhome.com
