Mary Emma Pearl Treadway, age 18, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at The Toledo Hospital due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Emma was born December 17, 2004, in Monroe, she was the daughter of Donnie Treadway and Amber L. Pillette; sadly both preceded her in death. She lived with her grandparents, Gary and Sandra Pillette.
She attended Monroe Public Schools, starting her education at Riverside Early Learning Center before going on to Custer Elementary School, Monroe Middle School, Monroe High School and Orchard Center High School. While at Orchard Center she was able to finish her graduation requirements early, finishing just over a month ago so she could start being an adult.
Emma had just started working at the Meijer Warehouse in Newport.
Emma loved life! She was a very spiritual person who loved nature and crystals. She loved spending time with her family including her grandparents, siblings, cousins and especially her nephews, Louie and Roman. She enjoyed going to car shows with her grandpa and cooking and baking with her grandma. She was a very loving person wanting to make everyone happy and make sure animals were cared for.
She is survived by her grandparents, Gary and Sandy Pillette; siblings, Aubrey Pillette and Michael Treadway both of Monroe; two nephews, Louie and Roman; uncle, Gary (Dawn) Pillette and Krystal Roggow both of Monroe;
many cousins; two dogs, Rocky and Baby and three cats, Amber, Midnight and Tom.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an uncle, Ray Roggow.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 4 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI.
