Mary Lou Ray, 50 years, of Monroe, MI, went to be with Jesus Christmas Day, December 25, 2007. Mary was born July 7, 1957 in Monroe, MI the daughter of Sewell and Mary H. (McArtor). Mary attended Monroe County Intermediate School District and the Free Methodist Church in Monroe. Mary enjoyed working for the CSDD workshop in Monroe, where she worked for 25 years. Mary loved her family and her cat Felix. Mary is survived by her beloved mother Mary H. Ray of Monroe, 2 sisters; Diane Ray of Monroe and Cecilia (Cis) Brian Grimm of Escanaba, MI, 3 brothers; John (Kris) Ray of Monroe, Thomas (Donna) Ray of Lakeland, FL, and Robert (Krisan) Ray of Shelby Township, MI, and several nieces and nephews. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her father Sewell. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Dale Kaufman pastor of the Free Methodist Church of Monroe will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
