Mark E. Henschell, age 51, of Monroe, MI, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 12:06 AM in Mercy Memorial Hospital where he had been for 2 days. He had been in poor health since 2004. Mark was born October 29, 1956 in Dearborn, MI the son of Evan and Carmen (Roby) Henschell. Sadly his beloved mother preceded him in death. Mark was a graduate of Farmington High School. On July 21, 2001 Mark married Karen S. Fletcher in Monroe, MI. Mark was employed as a Turbine Supervisor for DTE Energy in Monroe for 29 years, retiring in 2004. Mark was a member of the Monroe Boat Club. Mark's hobbies included boating, camping, grilling, and fishing. Mark is survived by his beloved wife Karen, his father and step mother Evan and Barb Henschell of Frisco, TX, 4 children; Joey E. (Christina) Massingill of Carleton, MI, Matthew Roscoe of Monroe, Sara (John) Morrison of Baltimore, MD, and Melissa Henschell of Saline, MI. 5 grandchildren, 2 sisters; Patricia (Danny) Boniovanni of Northville, MI and Jackie (Danny) Bishop of McKinney, TX. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Sally Martin will officiate. Cremation will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, MI
