Marjorie H. Sieb, age 93 of Monroe, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
Born December 23, 1931 in Monroe, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Franklin and Helen (Pixley) Schwartz. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1949 and married Richard A. Sieb on October 3, 1954 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Sadly, Dick preceded Marj in death on September 19, 2021.
Marj was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She was a hairdresser, sorority member, delivered meals on wheels and a Lutheran Home volunteer.
She was an avid bowler at Nortel Lanes and an accomplished bridge player.
She loved spending time at the cottage on Black Lake.
She enjoyed getting together with friends and family at Easter (with their famous Easter brunch) and spending time with everyone at Christmas.
Marj's door was always open, with a meal ready and waiting.
Marj is survived by a son, Robert (Debra) Sieb and a daughter, Sheryl Sieb, both of Monroe; five grandchildren: Brandon (Heather) Sieb, Brock (Karl Johnson) Sieb, Shane (Ashley) Sieb, Brad (Ashley) Scott, and Craig Scott; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Marj is preceded in death by an infant son, William and an infant grandson, Matthew Sieb.
Family and friends may visit from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12th at Bacarella Funeral Home. Marj will lie in state Friday at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church where services will be held at 11 a.m. Pastor Dennis Mann will officiate. Afterward, Marj will be laid to rest with her husband in the Sieb Family Crypt at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
