Marie A. Linkes, age 77, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Toledo ProMedica Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Marie was born April 24, 1948 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Theodore and Nicolena (Cicero) Colucci. She married Michael M. Linkes January 2, 1971 at St. Joseph Church, Monroe, sadly he passed away July 11, 2025 after 54 years of marriage.
She was a 1966 graduate of Monroe High School and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bunko and going to lunch and coffee with her friends.
Family was the most important thing to Marie, she loved caring for her husband, sons and grandchildren. Spending time with family meant the world to Marie, she especially enjoyed the time spent with Skylar and Lilly.
She is survived by two sons, Dane (Stephanie) Linkes of Temperance and Jason (Octavia Amaya) Linkes of Toledo; five grandchildren, Alicia Linkes, Skylar Linkes, Darryl Amaya, Ashley Amaya, Katrina Lindhorst; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Teddy Ann Colucci.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI 48161. She will lie instate at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m. Rev. David Burgard will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.
