Marcia P. Coleiro, 88 years, of Temperance, Michigan, formerly of Monroe, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Hickory Ridge of Temperance.
Born November 17, 1929 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Marcia was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Marcia C. (Hill) Maginn. She was a 1947 graduate of Lakeview High School in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
Marcia was employed as a nursing assistant for Frenchtown Convalescent Center in Monroe and for Consolidated Gas Company in Detroit. She was also a wonderful homemaker.
Marcia was a member of Monroe and Frenchtown Senior Citizens. She was an avid Detroit Tiger and Red Wings fan. Most of all Marcia enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family.
Marcia is survived by three loving daughters: Yvonne S. (Charles) Jarvis of Woodstock GA, Denise A. Smith of Toledo, OH and Simone E. (Clyde) Canales Of Temperance, MI, seven cherished grandchildren: Danette Kohler, David Gilbreath, Vanessa Gilbreath, Anelisha Smith, Shayne Smith, Christina Shell and Heather Canales and four treasured great grandchildren: Jason, Madison, Greyson, and Dominic. In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by a twin daughter: Denise Ann Coleiro, a sister: Vivian Maginn and a brother: Joseph Maginn.
Visitation will be held in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161 on Tuesday from 3-8 PM where funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Minister James Puhl, will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
