Lucy Marlene Rowley, age 59, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, with her loving family at her side.
Lucy was born on March 6, 1966 to Donald and Peggy (Kennedy) Pederson. Lucy spent most of her life in Toledo, Ohio before settling in Monroe. She attended and graduated from DeVilbiss High School in Toledo in 1984. On May 19, 1995, she married her beloved husband Timothy J. Rowley, together they cherished thirty years of marriage.
For many years Lucy worked as a billing clerk for Family Medical Clinic in Temperance, she also worked for some time as a home health care worker.
An avid collector, Lucy enjoyed going to flea markets and seeing what treasures she could find, she liked jewelry and model mustangs particularly. She was also a big Rick Springfield fan.
Lucy is survived by her husband, Tim, her son, Matthew (Lauren) Krueger of North Carolina, her brother Bryan Pederson, and grandson Wyatt Krueger.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life for Lucy will be held on June 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the home of Jim and Chris Reist – Rush, 13855 South Jones Road, Battle Creek, Michigan, 49017.
Memorial contributions in her memory are suggested to the Monroe County Humane Society.
In keeping with Lucy's wishes cremation has been held. Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161, is assisting her family with funeral arrangements.
